Brief

To shape a residential neighbourhood next to a high-rise landmark so that the quarter stays in proportion to people.

Solution

Low-rise blocks of clean, laconic form enter into a dialogue with the tower and together achieve a balanced urban scale. The blocks are arranged around inner courtyards.

The clean, laconic forms of the low-rise volumes enter into a dialogue with the high-rise landmark. Together they create a balanced urban scale in which the quarter remains proportionate to people.
