Scandinavian style · entrance, kitchen and living room, bedroom, children's room, two bathrooms, loggia
We designed this apartment in a Scandinavian style where minimalism and function meet homely comfort. Every object here has its place and is there for living, not for show. That is why the apartment feels easy to breathe in and calm to rest in.
The entrance, kitchen and living room are combined into one bright space. Morning coffee, dinner with friends and a quiet evening by the fireplace happen in one room without getting in each other's way. The bedroom, children's room and two bathrooms are separated from the shared area, so everyone in the family has a corner of their own. The loggia adds a place to relax by the window.
Light oak flooring unites the kitchen and living room. The lower kitchen fronts are light wood, the upper cabinets dark veneer, and glass cabinets in thin black frames are lit from inside. The splashback is laid with grey and white patterned tiles in the spirit of encaustic cement. The walls are grey blue, with a deep blue accent by the window. Warmth comes from a solid wood round table, a timber panel with a bio fireplace and light stone on the column. Light comes from black track lines on the ceiling and wall sconces.
The project is developed to a full set of 26 sheets with plans, wall elevations, sections with details and schedules, complemented by visualisations and 360° panoramas of every room.
